Skin Deep is more than a salon or an academy, it’s a full-circle moment.
Skin Deep was the very first name I created years ago, long before the awards, the team, or the academy. Back then, I didn’t fully understand what it would come to represent. Now, after years of growth, personally and professionally… I do.
Skin Deep is built on the belief that beauty isn’t just what we see in the mirror. It’s confidence. It’s self-expression. It’s how you feel in your own skin and how you choose to show up in the world.
As a woman approaching 40, I’ve reached that liberating stage of life where you stop shrinking, stop apologising, and start choosing yourself. That energy runs through everything we do here. This brand isn’t about fitting into one version of beauty it’s about giving women the freedom to define their own.
Whether your version of beauty is fresh brows, lip blush, glowing skin, tattoos, a messy bun, bare skin, or a full glam moment, you are welcome here.

We are proudly based in Carmarthen, West Wales, offering both a professional beauty salon and an industry-leading academy, now brought together under one name and one mission.
The salon is a modern calm, welcoming space where clients are seen, heard, and celebrated. Every treatment is designed to enhance natural features, restore confidence, and help you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin, never to change who you are, but to support how you want to feel.
The academy is where confidence is taught. Through professional training in permanent makeup, beauty treatments, and advanced techniques, we support artists at every stage of their journey not just with skill, but with belief in themselves.
Education here goes deeper than technique, it’s about empowerment, ethics, and artistry with purpose.
